Boone asked me to draw a flier for their show with the Men. I think the Pettibon influence is pretty obvious in this one.
Also pictured are two photos i took during Flechette's set. Rock music.

fall 2010 i tried to screen print a tech deck. it didn't work out that well for me.
the gesso on it was still too rough to print with detail (for me at least). so this is the image i was trying to do, printed on a sticker instead. i then cut out the sticker with an exacto and put it over the bottom of the tech deck.
cool.

flier for the 3rd Tiger Tail show. first out of town one. this was pretty much drawn in my biological concepts class, when i should have been taking notes.

the picture is unrelated to the quote, which is from Harvey Pekar of American Splendor. he passed away within a week of me drawing this flier. and i'm obviously a fan. this show was somewhat of a trainwreck.
portrait of ray pettibon for a drawing class fall 2010. this was part of a series of tiny portraits i did for that class. before drawing this i hadn't realized how big of an influence pettibon is for me. drawing these portraits is also when i realized how much i love brush pens.
also, if you don't know who ray pettibon is then get lost.
rock concert flier for a show that ended up being cancelled. if i remember right, the bagel czar had just stopped doing shows. and everywhere else was full because of slaughterama after party stuff going on. i'm glad i at least got to see Spanish Bombs at MACRock around that time.
a really small portrait of Aileen's dog Waffle. this was done really quickly at the end of the spring 2010 semester for a drawing class.
